Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with our client to recruit a compassionate and dedicated Funeral Service Crew member in Dunfermline.

You will provide empathetic support, professional care, and assistance during families' most difficult moments. Please note: All positions within Funeralcare can involve direct physical contact with the deceased as part of normal duties. Please carefully consider your comfort levels with these responsibilities before applying.
Care of the Deceased: Collect the deceased from various locations and scenarios in a professional, dignified, and empathetic manner. Prepare the deceased for viewings and funerals, and handle preparation tasks like engraving nameplates and preparing coffins.
Funeral Operations: Drive funeral vehicles and act as a bearer, safely lifting, carrying, and moving coffins following proper health and safety guidance and handling techniques.
Facility & Equipment Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness of facilities and equipment, including vehicles.
Administration: Maintain client management applications daily, inputting detailed and timely information to keep records consistently updated.
Driving Licence: A full manual UK driver’s licence is required.
Physical Capability: The ability to perform the physical aspects of the role (such as manual lifting), supported by appropriate training and handling aids.
Tech Literacy: Good IT skills and confidence using technology devices (computers, tablets, smartphones, printers, scanners) with the ability to learn new systems.
Empathy & Composure: The ability to react calmly and compassionately in emotional circumstances, offering a sensitive and caring approach to customer service.
Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy standards to ensure regulatory policies and processes are strictly adhered to.
