Looking for a leadership role where your hands-on approach and attention to detail create warm, pristine surroundings for residents? Partnering with Barchester Healthcare, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is seeking an experienced and motivational Head of Housekeeping to join the team at Ashchurch View Care Home.
In this role, you will lead a dedicated housekeeping team by example, taking a hands-on part in daily cleaning while ensuring that every room and living space is maintained to the highest possible standard.
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: 40.00 hours per week (Permanent full-time role)
Shifts: Days
Closing Date: 23 August 2026
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and inspire the housekeeping team to perform at their absolute best.
Take a hands-on approach, actively participating in the day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of the home.
Ensure every room, corridor, and living space meets the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
Uphold company policies and lead by example to make the care home a shining example of a quality care environment.
Build positive relationships through great communication with residents, relatives, and fellow staff members.
What We Are Looking For
Proven housekeeping experience gained within a care home, hospital, or hotel setting.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team.
Excellent attention to detail combined with a strong, hands-on work ethic.
A caring nature, warm disposition, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
