Position: HGV Class 2 Driver / Loader
Location: SUEZ, 72-76 River Road, Barking, IG11 0DS
Salary/Rate: £39,783.58 per annum + £25 per day lone working bonus + exceptional overtime rates (1.5x Monday – Saturday, 2x Sunday and Bank Holidays plus a day in lieu)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 04:00 AM – 13:45 PM, with weekend/bank holiday requirements as needed)

About the Role

Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced driver, this hands-on, permanent role offers early-morning stability, incredible earning potential with daily bonuses, and the chance to play a vital part in delivering sustainable commercial and industrial waste services.
Key Responsibilities
Driving & Operation: Safely drive and operate vehicles, handling the collection of industrial and commercial waste and assisting with loading duties.
Service Excellence: Deliver a high standard of professional customer service while working effectively both independently and as part of a hard-working team.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all customer and company health and safety rules and regulations at all times.
Working Pattern & Lone Working: Contracted 45 hours per week with 04:00 AM starts, carrying out lone working responsibilities alongside vehicle operation.

What We Are Looking For
Licence & Qualifications: A valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence and an in-date Driver CPC card are essential. (Newly qualified drivers are very welcome to apply!)
Attitude & Skills: A passion for professional driving, good communication skills, a reliable work ethic, and a responsible, safety-conscious attitude.
Working Style: Comfortable with early starts, hands-on loading responsibilities, and lone working.
