Job Overview
Are you ready to take the lead and make a meaningful difference in people’s lives? We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Support Worker to work within our supported living services and outreach programs in Bordon, Hampshire.
In this role, you’ll split your time between hands-on support, leadership, and administrative responsibilities—guiding staff, coordinating care, and ensuring our services run safely and smoothly while empowering individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs to live independently.
About the Role & Location
Where You’ll Be Working: Supported living services and local outreach programs across Bordon, Hampshire.
The People You’ll Support: Individuals with learning disabilities, difficulties, autism, and complex needs, helping them with daily living, communication, emotional regulation, and community participation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Encouraging: Promoting independence and active community roles.
Supporting: Assisting with daily living, personal care, routines, meal preparation, and budgeting.
Communicating & Engaging: Using preferred communication methods to motivate and enhance quality of life.
Specializing: Applying positive behavioural support approaches where needed.
Leadership & Recording: Maintaining accurate records, guiding and mentoring the care team, and stepping up to support service coordination under the Service Manager.
What We Need From You
A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (with a willingness to work towards Level 3).
A proactive, compassionate leadership approach and strong teamwork skills.
