Working as a permanent Deputy General Manager (Clinical) through our supportive bridge staffing agency on behalf of Barchester Healthcare, you will work closely with the General Manager and step into leadership duties in their absence. You will inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the best possible quality of life—leading by example, monitoring clinical standards through regular audits and supervised practice, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
Support the delivery of exceptional, person-centred care and clinical leadership across the home.
Lead, motivate, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Monitor clinical standards through regular audits, supervised practice, and compliance checks.
Manage safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments effectively.
Assist with budget management, HR processes, and strategic development.
Support newly qualified nurses through structured preceptorships.
Candidate Requirements (What You'll Need)
Registered Nurse (RN / RMN) with active current NMC registration.
A recognized teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification.
Proven experience supporting residents with diverse and complex health needs.
A strong track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
Background knowledge in HR, sales, marketing, and budget management is highly desirable.
