Maintenance Assistant / Gardener

Role Description

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to recruit a versatile Maintenance Assistant / Gardener on behalf of our client to maintain both the physical structures and outdoor grounds of a respected care home in Cirencester. Working three weekdays per week, you will ensure the internal facilities are safe and fully functional while keeping the surrounding gardens vibrant and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine interior and exterior building maintenance, general repairs, and safety checks.

• Maintain care home gardens and grounds to high aesthetic and safety standards across all seasons.

• Collaborate with care home staff to respond swiftly to day-to-day maintenance requests.

Requirements

• Practical prior experience in both property maintenance and hands-on gardening work.

• A valid UK driving licence.

• A patient, reliable, and compassionate attitude suitable for a residential care environment.
