As the Registered Manager, you will lead the team to provide a safe, caring, responsive, and effective service for your clients, ensuring delivery of the highest possible care standards fully compliant with all CQC statutory regulations while achieving operational and quality assurance KPIs. Responsibilities include:
Client Choice & Dignity: Ensuring all clients understand available care and treatment choices, promoting choice, dignity, and individuality.
Care Reviews: Reviewing existing care provision to meet current physical and mental health needs, liaising with clients, staff, health professionals, and social workers.
Quality Assurance & Auditing: Carrying out audits to understand service quality and taking quick reparative action when concerns arise.
Safety & Compliance: Ensuring effective risk assessments are in place to protect client needs.
Team Leadership & HR: Inducting new staff, providing regular training, supervision, and motivation, and handling disciplinary actions as required.
Staffing & Contingency: Effectively staffing the service to cover care calls with robust contingency plans for unexpected absences.
Safeguarding & Complaints: Investigating safeguarding, abuse, or service delivery complaints, ensuring notifications and the duty of candour are managed properly.
A minimum of 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK.
Management qualification at QCF Level 4 or equivalent (or a willingness to work towards this).
QCF Level 4 or higher in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
Previous registration in a home care service is preferable.
Demonstrable, up-to-date knowledge of the care sector, including running a home care service and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership and management skills.
Experience working with vulnerable client groups.
