Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to partner with Bradford Council to recruit a qualified and experienced Senior Tutor for SEND for Skills for Work—Bradford's Council training and skills provider delivering high-quality education and training from Entry Level to Level 5.

In this vital peripatetic role, you will provide specialised teaching and learning services to a wide range of learners, developing and delivering accessible learning courses tailored specifically to meet the diverse needs of SEND learners and their employers across the district.

About the Role

As Senior Tutor for SEND, you will play a key role in empowering learners with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring full compliance with educational health and care plans while maximizing retention and achievement. Key responsibilities include:

• Specialised Teaching & Delivery: Providing peripatetic teaching and learning across schools, employer premises, and community settings.

• Accessible Course Development: Developing and delivering accessible courses—including English, maths, ICT, and employability skills—tailored specifically to meet the diverse needs of SEND learners and their employers.

• Individualised Training & Support: Implementing individualised, practical training experiences that incorporate assistive strategies and adaptive technologies to support each learner's unique abilities.

• Progress Monitoring & Compliance: Closely monitoring, reviewing, and celebrating progress against personalised milestones, while ensuring full compliance with contract, awarding body, and individual Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) regulations.
