About the Role
As a supportive bridge staffing agency, we are excited to partner with Myton Food Group (Morrisons) to recruit an experienced Commercial Account Manager for their Eggs category based in Knaresborough. In this highly visible, senior role, you will take direct ownership of commercial performance, drive growth, and shape category strategy while working closely with internal and external stakeholders across the supply chain to deliver exceptional value.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Ownership: Lead and drive the overall commercial performance, growth, and category strategy for the Eggs category.
Data & Trend Analysis: Analyze sales performance and market data to identify trends, risks, and strategic growth opportunities.
Margin & Value Management: Drive profitability through effective margin management, cost price increases (CPI), promotion mechanics, and range optimization.
Strategic Partnerships: Lead range development and innovation in partnership with Myton Food Group, Morrisons, Procurement, and Operations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a confident communicator, influencing senior stakeholders internally and externally to execute account plans and achieve sustainable growth.
What We Are Looking For
Industry Experience: Extensive experience managing large UK grocery retail accounts with expert knowledge of the UK grocery market and the Eggs category.
Commercial Acumen: Advanced financial and commercial acumen covering margins, profitability, forecasting, and CPI.
Supply Chain Expertise: A deep understanding of supply chain workflows, promotions, and store operations, alongside a strong awareness of NPD (New Product Development) trends.
Communication Skills: Confident, credible communicator capable of engaging effectively with senior stakeholders across both Myton Food Group and Morrisons.
