About the Role & Location

• Where You’ll Be Working: The Coombs Care Home in Coleford, Gloucestershire (a CQC-regulated care home).

• Working Hours: Bank contract (zero-hour basis), requiring flexibility to cover day and weekend shifts as and when needed.

• Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example, delivering high-quality person-centred care and companionship.

  • Support residents with personal care, daily living needs, and promoting independence.

  • Plan and participate in meaningful social activities and community outings.

  • Oversee medication administration and maintain accurate record-keeping.

  • Build strong collaborative relationships with resident families and healthcare professionals.

  • Guide and support the care team, stepping up to lead the home in the absence of senior management.

What We Need From You

• A minimum of 12 months on your legal right to work in the UK.

• At least 2 years of proven experience in social care.

• QCF Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or above).

• Flexibility to work days and weekends on a bank/as-needed basis.
