We are currently recruiting a dedicated P2P Coordinator to join our Justice and Immigration team in Birchwood, Cheshire.
In this crucial role, you will ensure that suppliers are paid accurately and on time while supporting the smooth execution of our Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes. By maintaining strong financial controls and administrative efficiency, your work directly supports essential operations and public services across the UK.
As a P2P Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
Transaction Management: Process purchase orders, invoices, and payment transactions accurately in line with agreed procedures and service levels.
Proactive Monitoring: Monitor invoice and purchase order activity to prevent overdue accounts and resolve payment delays.
Query Resolution: Investigate and resolve invoice, payment, and supplier queries, escalating issues when necessary.
System Accuracy: Maintain precise records and transactional data within SAP and associated corporate systems.
Compliance & Collaboration: Support compliance with financial controls and audit requirements while building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and finance teams.
Experience: Previous working experience within a Purchase to Pay (P2P), Accounts Payable, or finance administration environment.
Technical Skills: Good working knowledge of SAP (or similar enterprise resource planning systems) and confidence using Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving capabilities, and a customer-focused approach.
Work Ethic: Ability to manage high-volume transactional work accurately, prioritize workloads, and meet strict deadlines both independently and as part of a team.
This role requires Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance, which involves identity, employment history, nationality, and criminal record verification. Depending on specific requirements, additional formal Security Clearance (such as CTC or SC) may be needed. Candidates will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire.
Competitive Pay: £28,500 per annum.
