What you'll learn
- By the end of this module you will be able to define adult safeguarding and identify who may be at risk.
- By the end of this module you will be able to recognise the main categories of abuse and neglect, and identify the signs and indicators associated with each.
- By the end of this module you will be able to explain the six safeguarding principles and describe how they apply in day-to-day practice.
- By the end of this module you will be able to describe the legal duties relating to adult safeguarding and explain how the different parts of the system fit together.
- By the end of this module you will be able to explain how to respond to and raise a safeguarding concern correctly, and describe what happens afterwards.
