About the Role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Registered Nurse (Nights) to join the award-winning team at Cliftonville Care Home, operated by Avery Healthcare. In this vital role, you will act as the person in charge when required, standing in for the Manager and ensuring exemplary standards of clinical care, safety, and comfort for our residents throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities
Undertake comprehensive nursing tasks, including the safe distribution of medication, wound dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding, and management of chronic medical conditions.
Monitor residents closely and promptly advise families and GPs of any changes in condition, keeping them actively informed and involved in ongoing care choices.
Oversee the effective deployment, supervision, and guidance of the night care team to ensure all required duties are completed seamlessly.
Provide exceptional care standards through accurate clinical assessment and meticulous care planning.
Candidate Requirements
Registration & Qualifications: Must hold a First Level nursing qualification and current, active NMC Registration.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of post-registration nursing experience, supported by up-to-date clinical knowledge and relevant post-basic studies.
Skills & Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, robust knowledge of care planning and its practical execution, and the ability to lead and instruct others. You must consistently live by our core values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
