As a Wellbeing and Activities Assistant, you will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a wide, stimulating range of activities designed to enrich our residents' physical, cognitive, and social well-being. Your enthusiasm and creativity will help bring our vision of "creating meaningful lives together" to life every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering engaging and meaningful activities and social events.
Report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the coordinator, home manager, and care team.
Order, prepare, and manage supplies for upcoming events and activities as directed.
Help forge strong links with local community groups (such as schools, museums, and libraries) to promote intergenerational engagement and community access.

Experience: Previous experience working with older people in a residential or nursing dementia setting is essential.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive and compassionate attitude toward older people, and a commitment to providing quality activities.
Requirements: Applicants must have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and undergo a DBS disclosure check (cost met by Avery Healthcare).
