About the Role
Are you passionate about food, cleanliness, and making a positive impact on residents' daily lives? We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join the family at The Manor, a 74-bedded residential, nursing, and dementia care home in Edinburgh.
In this role, you will support our catering team in keeping the kitchen running smoothly, ensuring exceptional standards of hygiene, and helping prepare delicious, comforting meals that make our residents feel right at home.
Key Responsibilities
Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, and impeccably organized at all times.
Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
Assist the chef with basic cooking, baking, and meal prep tasks when required.
Handle dishwashing, utensil care, kitchen equipment maintenance, floor cleaning, and waste disposal.
