About the Role
Influence safety, health, and environmental performance across a large and complex operational environment! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this pivotal SHE Advisor position on behalf of BAE Systems.
Operating on-site across Warton and Samlesbury, you will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring high standards of compliance, managing site risk, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing, engineering, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Competent Advisory: Provide expert Safety, Health, and Environmental advice and support across diverse operational and functional areas.
Audits & Assurance: Lead and support critical SHE activities, including audits, reviews, investigations, and assurance programs.
Compliance Management: Ensure rigorous site compliance with relevant SHE standards, internal policies, and legal requirements.
Risk & Performance Analysis: Support risk assessment activities, promote effective risk management principles, and produce/analyse performance reports.
Stakeholder Coaching: Coach, support, and influence stakeholders at all levels to foster continuous improvement in safety performance.
What We Are Looking For
Educational Background: NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health (or equivalent qualification).
Professional Experience: Proven background providing Safety, Health, and Environmental advice within a business, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment principles, and SHE management systems.
Communication & Influence: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
