At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we link creative and compassionate support staff with leading care environments across the UK. We are currently recruiting an energetic Activities Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare for Badgeworth Court Care Centre in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Activities Assistant, you will help deliver imaginative, fun, and varied activity programmes that make daily life fulfilling and enjoyable for residents. This part-time permanent position offers a wonderful opportunity to build close connections with residents, helping them pursue their favourite hobbies, maintain independence, and engage with friends, family, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in organising and running a diverse range of group activities, pastimes, and one-to-one sessions.
Help plan and support seasonal events, social gatherings, and community outings.
Encourage and motivate residents to participate in activities tailored to their individual interests and abilities.
Foster a warm, motivational atmosphere that enhances resident wellbeing and independence.

Requirements & Attributes:
Personality: Creative, empathetic, enthusiastic, and driven by a genuine sense of fun.
Skills: Strong communication skills with the natural ability to motivate and encourage others.
Mindset: A real interest in getting to know older adults and enriching their everyday lives.
Experience: All backgrounds are welcome; full training and skill development programs will be provided.
