We are excited to represent Avery Healthcare in their search for a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager - RGN to join the award-winning team at Purley Gardens Care Home in Surrey.
The Role
Are you an experienced registered nurse looking for a rewarding leadership role where you can support home management, drive clinical excellence, and inspire your team? As the Deputy Manager, your focus will be to support the General Manager in operating a compliant, effective, and person-centred care home that provides a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for residents and visitors while meeting professional, statutory, and commercial targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
Ensuring strict adherence to medication policies and procedures, including reviews and safe administration.
Monitoring resident wellbeing and proactively identifying changes impacting care and care plans.
Completing monthly audits, quality indicator reports, and other necessary compliance documentation.
Attending weekly clinical meetings and monitoring clinical risk areas within the home.

Requirements:
Hold a valid nursing qualification with an active NMC PIN.
A minimum of two years of experience working in a similar care environment in a management position.
Outstanding leadership, management, and IT competency, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
