Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Change Grow Live (CGL) to recruit a qualified and passionate Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join their Severe Multiple Disadvantage (SMD) team in Nottinghamshire.
In this unique outreach role, you will operate countywide from a mobile clinical van and various community settings to help individuals access drug and/or alcohol support services more quickly. As an integral part of a diverse multidisciplinary team—including specialist doctors, nurses, recovery workers, and peer mentors—you will deliver person-centred, recovery-focused interventions that make a genuine, lasting difference in people's lives.
Clinical Assessments & Treatment: Assess and treat service users, providing tailored care and prescribing or adjusting opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and related medications.
Clinic Development: Act as the expert point of contact and go-to resource for colleagues and partner agencies on all prescribing matters.
Harm Reduction & Recovery: Deliver effective harm reduction and health promotion interventions, supporting service users to achieve their personal recovery goals with dignity and compassion.
Collaboration: Work closely within a multidisciplinary framework, formulating written reports and participating actively in team development.
Professional Qualification: Qualified and registered Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) with valid UK professional registration.
Experience: At least one year of recent, relevant experience working within substance misuse treatment settings.
Skills & Knowledge: Sound, demonstrable knowledge of harm reduction, health promotion, clinical risk assessment, and recovery planning, coupled with confident verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements: Passionate about empowering others, able to thrive in an outreach/mobile environment, and must hold the legal Right to Work in the UK at the time of application.
