About the Role

As a Care Assistant at Elmstead, you will be at the heart of our mission to help people live longer, healthier, happier lives. You'll provide person-centred care that supports independence, honours choice, and ensures residents live a life they truly love.
Key Responsibilities:
Support residents with diverse daily needs, ranging from companionship to personal care.
Observe, manage, document, and report changes in resident behaviour in compliance with legislation.
Assist and encourage residents with nutrition and hydration according to their tailored care plans.
Provide physical and mental stimulation by engaging residents in social and recreational activities—both individually and in groups.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date care plans in line with regulatory and legal standards.
What We Are Looking For
Motivation, a positive attitude, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Desirable: Prior experience in a care home environment or a relevant Health and Social Care qualification.
