About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant for a permanent, full-time position at Chater Lodge Care Home in Stamford.
In this leadership role, you will work alongside the Deputy General Manager to supervise, inspire, and guide a team of Care Assistants. You will also support the clinical team with key responsibilities such as medication administration, resident care plans, and detailed care reviews, all while ensuring each resident receives dignified, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Care Assistants to maintain high care standards.
Assist the clinical team with medication administration, assessments, and care plan reviews.
Promote a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment tailored to individual resident needs.
Uphold resident dignity, independence, and choices across daily care routines.
About You
To excel as a Senior Care Assistant, you will need:
NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Specific knowledge and experience in clinical care for older adults.
Strong leadership and motivational skills with a warm, compassionate, and patient nature.
A commitment to delivering individualised, high-quality care.
