About the Role

Birches Grove, located in the scenic area of Parkend within the Forest of Dean, is looking to recruit dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our compassionate team. Our home offers specialized residential support for four male and female adults living with a learning disability or mental health needs, and is situated just a short distance from the local village.

Our team is entirely dedicated to supporting our residents to live healthy, happy, and independent lives. We focus on helping individuals access their local community, build self-reliance, and step forward into a brighter future using a highly personalized approach and proven therapies.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Bank Support Worker, you will be a vital part of a close-knit team focused on resident wellbeing. You will work alongside qualified staff to deliver care that respects the dignity, choices, and unique treatment journey of every individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Care Plan Implementation: Assist qualified staff with the ongoing assessment and implementation of personalized care plans.
Daily Living Support: Undertake routine tasks, personal care assistance, and daily activities as directed to facilitate the ultimate wellbeing and dignity of our residents.
Community Integration: Accompany and support residents as they explore the local village, build social networks, and access community amenities.
Fostering Confidence: Employ therapeutic, person-centred care approaches to help individuals build a healthier, more fulfilling life.
