About the Role

Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is partnering with Morrisons to recruit friendly, approachable Customer Assistants to join the Service team in Southampton.

In this role, you will be the welcoming face of the store, providing customers with a fantastic shopping experience across checkouts, self-serve tills, and kiosks. You will process transactions smoothly, offer helpful service with a smile, and receive cross-training to support other store areas such as Market Street or Replenishment teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Deliver warm, friendly, and approachable customer service at checkouts, self-serve tills, and kiosks to ensure shoppers leave feeling looked after and welcome.

• Transaction Processing: Handle customer transactions smoothly, efficiently, and accurately.

• Store Support: Cross-train and assist across different parts of the store—including Market Street or Replenishment teams—wherever support is needed most.

• Enjoys staying active, being hands-on, and working well in a busy, structured environment.

• Comfortable using equipment safely and following established store processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a love for helping customers and resolving queries.

• Note: Candidates must be over the school leaver’s age (certain roles may require applicants to be over 18 due to health and safety regulations).
