About the Role

As a permanent Residential Senior Night Carer at Snowdrop Place, you will take a hands-on leadership role during the night hours, ensuring residents receive quality, person-centred care, safety, and reassurance.

You will lead, mentor, and delegate duties to the night care team, manage the safe ordering and administration of medication, review care plans, and maintain a calm, peaceful environment. You will also liaise with night nursing teams and family members while championing resident dignity and choice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and delegate duties to the night care team during shifts, assisting with training and supervisions.

• Administer and order medication safely in accordance with protocols.

• Review, update, and manage resident care plans and risk assessments.

• Liaise professionally with healthcare professionals and resident families.

• Maintain a warm, calm, secure, and vibrant environment throughout the night.

What We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.

• Experience: Previous experience working within a residential care setting.

• Leadership Skills: Proven team leadership abilities and sound decision-making skills to support resident wellbeing overnight.

• Commitment: Available for a permanent full-time night contract of 36 hours per week.
