Night Care Team Leader

Supportive Bridge Staffing & Recruitment is pleased to recruit on behalf of Care UK, an award-winning care provider seeking a dedicated Night Care Team Leader to join their team in Edinburgh, UK. This night shift supervisory position (available on a full-time or part-time basis with alternate weekend working) offers competitive hourly pay, structured training, and clear opportunities for career development within the care sector.

In this key leadership role during the night shifts, you will guide and supervise care staff while working alongside Care Assistants to deliver exceptional care to residents. You will oversee medication administration, conduct risk assessments, maintain comprehensive care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary health teams and family members to ensure optimal resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead night shifts, allocate duties, delegate work effectively, and support residents with night-time care needs.

• Serve as a case manager for residents, managing care planning and liaising with families and healthcare professionals.

• Administer and record medication accurately, carry out risk assessments, and partner with the leadership team to enhance services.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable) along with proven experience leading and supervising care staff.

• Well-organized, IT literate, and possess a solid understanding of care planning processes and risk assessment.

• Experienced in medication administration (or willing to undergo training) with availability for night shifts and alternate weekends.
