As a permanent Weekend Care Assistant at Red Oaks, you will help our residents enjoy every day by making sure they receive the quality care and support they deserve. You’ll assist with daily living, provide wonderful companionship, and share great moments and memories.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living tasks, personal care, and mobility support.

• Support residents with food, drink, and nutritional intake.

• Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate daily records.

• Provide meaningful companionship and dedicated one-to-one interaction.

• Help create a welcoming, safe, and person-centred environment over the weekend.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Some prior experience caring for older people.

• Communication & Attitude: Excellent communication skills with a proactive, can-do approach.

• Values: Genuine empathy, a warm-hearted nature, and deep compassion for resident wellbeing.

• Commitment: Available for a permanent weekend contract of 23 hours per week.
