As a Residential Senior Carer, you will play a pivotal leadership role on shift, overseeing care staff and ensuring that all residents receive personalized, high-quality care that respects their dignity and choices.
Key Responsibilities:
Shift Leadership: Lead, train, supervise, and delegate duties to care staff during day shifts.
Medication Management: Assist with the accurate administration, ordering, and management of medication.
Care Planning & Assessments: Regularly review and update resident care plans and risk assessments.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Liaise effectively with GPs, district nursing teams, and family members.
Person-Centred Support: Maintain a welcoming and supportive home environment tailored to each resident's unique needs.

Requirements:
Qualification: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
Experience: Proven experience in a residential care setting with demonstrated team leadership skills.
Skills: Strong decision-making, clear communication, and empathetic interpersonal skills.
Career Ambition: Enthusiasm for career progression—many Senior Carers progress into Care Practitioner, Care Community Lead, or Nursing roles.
