Hours: Flexible/Full-time temporary agency shifts (37.5 hours per week equivalent available; 12.5-hour shifts including days, nights, and weekends)

Please note: Due to the personal care requirements and needs of our female residents, this position is exclusively open to female applicants under an occupational requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as part of an inclusive, compassionate team to support young people along their recovery pathway toward leading valued, fulfilled lives.

• Participate in ward rounds, analyze behaviors, and adapt care dynamically alongside clinical colleagues.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and care notes.

• Provide holistic care and support, including assisting service users with personal hygiene.

• Foster a safe, structured, and positive environment, exercising resilience and vigilance in a challenging yet deeply rewarding healthcare setting.

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this agency placement, you will need:

• Gender Requirement: Female only (Exempt under the Equality Act 2010).

• Previous care experience working as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in a similar clinical, residential, or healthcare environment.

• A compassionate, resilient, and positive attitude with strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is preferred due to the hospital's location.
