About this role
Exemplar Health Care is looking for a Registered Nurse (days) at Copperfields care home in Cross Green, Leeds (LS9). The role is 42 hours a week on 12-hour day shifts. Copperfields has 30 en-suite rooms across three units and supports adults with brain injuries, dementia, mental health conditions and neuro-disabilities.
What you will do:
- Assess, plan and give person-centred nursing care
- Give medication safely and promote health and wellbeing
- Be the Nurse in Charge of a small unit on shift
- Manage situations where people show behaviours of concern
What they ask for:
- First-level nursing registration with a valid NMC PIN (Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability nurses welcome)
- Good clinical skills and knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and DoLS
- A calm role model who can coach and support colleagues
Pay stated by the employer: £21.14 per hour.
