We are currently partnering with Circle Health Group—Britain’s leading provider of independent healthcare—to find a proactive and qualified Health and Safety Cluster Advisor to support their sites across the South East London Cluster.
As a Health and Safety Cluster Advisor, you will provide clear guidance and expertise to Senior Management Teams (SMTs) regarding regulatory compliance, safety legislation, and company policies. You will play a vital role in ensuring high health and safety standards are maintained for regulators (such as the CQC, HSE, and local authorities), conducting audits, investigating incidents, and fostering a safe operational culture across all shared cluster sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise SMTs across your cluster on compliance with applicable health and safety legislation, guidance, and policies, assisting with implementation.
Demonstrate appropriate compliance levels to regulators including the CQC, HIS, HIW, HSE, EA, and local government agents.
Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Health and Safety Cluster Lead (HSCL) to improve safety performance, consistency, and compliance.
Coordinate H&S time allocations and attendance across designated cluster sites with the HSCL.
Assist in identifying and sharing lessons learned following cluster-related incidents.
Contribute to corporate projects and initiatives, including CHG policy development, research, and training.
Escalate intolerable H&S risks to operational managers/directors while proposing practicable recommendations for improvement.
To thrive in this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of operational health and safety experience.
Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Health and Safety Management.
Professional Registration: Active membership with IOSH (or a clear willingness to apply for professional registration).
Core Competencies: Strong fire safety skills, contractor safety management experience, root cause analysis (RCA) / incident investigation skills, and proven expertise as a risk assessor and auditor.
