We are Bridge Staffing Agency, a dedicated recruitment partner committed to connecting exceptional talent with organizations where they can make a lasting impact. We take pride in building collaborative relationships and tailoring our search solutions to your professional goals, your pace, and your people.
We are partnering with a long-standing financial services client to find an experienced Payments Project Manager to join their dynamic Payments portfolio on an initial 6-month contract.
While the title is Project Manager, this is very much a hands-on delivery role. We are looking for someone who has personally owned and driven payments projects from initiation through to implementation, rather than operating primarily at a programme, governance, or oversight level. You’ll be responsible for keeping delivery moving, managing competing priorities, and ensuring projects cross the finish line.
Own and drive end-to-end payments projects from mobilisation through to implementation.
Manage project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
Work closely and collaboratively with both business and technology teams.
Manage strong stakeholder relationships across the business, technical units, third parties, and senior leadership.
Handle competing priorities and take full accountability for getting projects delivered.
Nice to have: Cards experience, wider transactional banking background, or experience developing business cases and change briefs for new initiatives.
Proven project management experience delivering payments change within the financial services sector.
A strong track record of hands-on, end-to-end project delivery rather than sole programme oversight.
PRINCE2 qualification.
Demonstrated ability to show what you have personally delivered.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to work 2–3 days per week onsite in Central London.
Comfort operating on an Inside IR35 contract at £550–£600 per day.
