The Role
Are you an experienced culinary professional looking for a rewarding role where your cooking directly contributes to the health, happiness, and wellbeing of elderly residents? As a Chef de Partie, your focus will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading a talented kitchen team that provides a nutritionally balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality culinary service.
Key Responsibilities:
Participating in meetings with residents and Department Heads to discuss and agree on catering functions across the home, ensuring special needs and dietary requirements are fully met.
Preparing nutritious food and beverages to an exceptionally high standard, as directed by the Head Chef.
Supporting cost-effective stock control systems to minimize waste and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborating with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and review menus on a regular basis.
About You

Requirements:
Hold a recognized catering qualification (such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2, NVQ, or equivalent).
Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
Have a minimum of 1 year of catering experience.
Demonstrate compassion and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality culinary services to residents.
Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
Requirements for Employment: Proof of eligibility to work in the UK and a DBS Disclosure check (the cost of which is fully covered by Avery Healthcare).
