We are currently recruiting on behalf of Medequip Assistive Technologies—the UK’s leading provider of community equipment services to the NHS and local authorities—as they look for an enthusiastic Warehouse and Cleaning Apprentice to join their team at the Telford Depot.
About the Role
As a Warehouse and Cleaning Apprentice, you will play a pivotal role in supporting experienced Warehouse Operatives, Driver Technicians, and Service Engineers within the depot. You will earn while you learn, gaining practical skills across the warehouse, decontamination area, and workshop.
This role combines hands-on equipment maintenance, stock management, safety compliance, and occasional field visits to client homes to assist with equipment delivery and installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Work across the warehouse, decontamination area, and depot workshop in compliance with health and safety policies.
Work alongside Workshop Engineers to gain knowledge and experience across all aspects of the role.
Manage stock and assemble equipment with good attention to detail.
Occasionally accompany engineers on field jobs and support visits to client homes for equipment delivery, collection, and installation.
Liaise with the on-site customer services team regarding product-related queries.

You are a proactive, organized individual with a professional manner, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow within the healthcare and logistics sector.
Skills: Good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and basic computer knowledge.
Personal Qualities: Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team.
