As a Housekeeping Assistant through Supportive Bridge, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest cleaning standards across residential properties, public areas, and care home facilities, ensuring a pristine environment where residents feel completely at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that residents' care home facilities, public areas, and individual properties are maintained to the highest possible cleaning standards.

• Operate specialized cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, and carpet shampooers.

• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing, bedding, and communal laundry items.

• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors; clean carpets, upholstery, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills while emptying bins regularly.

• Report all safety hazards promptly, strictly adhering to Health and Safety standards and COSHH guidelines at all times.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a housekeeping or domestic cleaning role.

• A basic understanding of infection control, COSHH, and compliance standards.

• Friendly, approachable, and equipped with strong communication skills to build long-lasting professional relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families.

• A keen eye for detail, a strong sense of pride in your work, and an appreciation for maintaining a safe, vulnerable-friendly environment (DBS check required, fully covered by Bupa).
