ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a flexible, casual role designed to cover planned and unplanned absences (such as annual leave or sickness cover) across day or night shifts. As a Bank Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive personalized care, daily living support, and meaningful companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and mealtime support.
Follow individual care plans to deliver tailored physical and emotional care.
Spend quality one-to-one time with residents to build trust and shared moments.
Provide flexible cover across day or night shifts as required by the care home.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a safe, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate individual with a genuine heart for elderly care and the adaptability to work varied shifts.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Prior experience caring for older adults (in a professional or care environment).
A positive, "can-do" approach coupled with strong communication skills.
High levels of empathy, patience, and commitment to high standards of care.
Willingness to participate in comprehensive, ongoing training provided on the job.
