The Opportunity

As a PBS Practitioner, you will hold a pivotal role responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered support to individuals within the Education division. Your expertise will bridge the gap between assessment and real-world care, leading functional assessments, co-designing tailored PBS plans, and building staff capability. Central to your mission will be reducing restrictive practices while promoting safety, dignity, community participation, and active skill development.

Key Responsibilities

Assessments & Analytics: Lead robust functional behavior assessments to clearly identify individual triggers, needs, and communication functions; monitor data trends to review intervention effectiveness.
Co-Designing Care: Develop and implement highly personalized, strengths-based PBS plans alongside individuals, their families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Staff Coaching & Training: Act as an internal consultant, mentoring, coaching, and training support staff to deliver compassionate, highly consistent ethical care.
Advocating Ethical Care: Actively champion the reduction of restrictive practices, embedding person-centered and trauma-informed philosophies into daily operations.
Quality of Life Improvement: Keep individual independence, participation, and long-term skill development at the heart of all clinical interventions.
