Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 25.00 hours per week (Permanent Part-Time)
Shift Pattern: Days (Includes alternate weekends)
Special Requirement: Full UK Driving License required (for driving the care home minibus)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a central role in celebrating life by planning and delivering imaginative, fun, and engaging activities tailored to residents' individual interests and abilities. You will also take residents out on local trips using the care home minibus.
Key Responsibilities:
Get to know residents and their families to build personalized activity programmes that boost wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
Organize a diverse schedule of events, crafts, musical entertainment, games, and physical activities within the care home.
Drive the care home minibus for trips and outings into the local community.
Inspire and motivate residents, staff, and visitors to get involved in community events.
Manage activity schedules, budgets, and event planning efficiently.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a warm, organized, and energetic individual with infectious enthusiasm and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older adults.
Requirements & Experience:
Full UK Driving License (essential for minibus driving).
Strong organizational, planning, and multi-tasking skills.
A warm, empathetic, and creative mindset.
Previous experience in event planning, activities, or care is ideal but not essential (full training provided).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire others.
