About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bank Senior Care Assistant for flexible placements in Southport, Merseyside.
In this role, you will take operational leadership during your shifts—supervising and inspiring Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, supporting the clinical team with specialized care tasks, and ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centered support.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervising, mentoring, and inspiring a team of Care Assistants during day or night shifts.
Supporting clinical leadership with specific responsibilities such as medication management, assessments, care planning, and care reviews.
Delivering hands-on, individualized care while respecting resident dignity, preferences, and choices.
Maintaining clear handover communication and accurate clinical documentation.
Helping to create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for residents, visitors, and colleagues.
About You
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care (required).
Experience: Proven experience in care home settings with specific knowledge of clinical care for older adults.
Leadership Skills: Strong supervisory capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide care teams effectively.
