ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a casual, flexible position designed to provide cover during night shifts as and when needed (such as for annual leave or sickness). As a Bank Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing continuous, compassionate support, ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for throughout the night.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with night-time routine care, personal care, mobility, and comfort.
Carry out regular checks during the night to maintain safety, dignity, and peace of mind for all residents.
Follow individual care plans and respond promptly to call bells and overnight needs.
Support residents with night-time refreshments and provide calm, reassuring companionship when needed.
Work closely with the overnight care team to report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a reliable, warm-hearted individual with a genuine empathy for older adults and the flexibility to work night shifts.
Requirements & Experience:
Prior experience caring for older people (in a professional or informal care setting).
A positive, "can-do" attitude combined with excellent communication skills.
Patience, empathy, and strong attention to detail during quiet overnight hours.
Eagerness to learn and develop through comprehensive training provided on the job.
