About the Role
As a Day Domestic Assistant, you are a valued and vital part of our care team. Your work directly contributes to creating a clean, safe, hygienic, and comforting home-from-home environment where our residents and staff can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain pristine standards across all furniture, furnishings, floors, walls, and communal areas.
Carry out thorough weekly bedroom cleans on a rotational basis and ensure bathrooms, en-suites, and toilets are sanitised daily.
Manage waste disposal safely (including emptying wastebaskets and clinical/general bins daily) and handle chemicals strictly in line with COSHH requirements.
Re-stock paper products, dispensers, and handle monthly internal window cleaning.

We are looking for a dedicated, meticulous individual who takes pride in keeping a clean environment and has a genuine passion for social care.
Skills & Experience: Ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks effectively, and communicate well at all levels. An understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 is an advantage.
Personal Attributes: Compassionate, caring, and a strong team player who thrives in an active environment.
Requirements: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance of the care home.
