About the Role
We are recruiting a permanent, part-time Kitchen Assistant to join the catering team at Wood Grange Care Home in Bourne.
In this vital support role, you will assist the Head Chef and kitchen team in preparing healthy, nutritious meals that contribute directly to the wellbeing and happiness of our residents. Beyond basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene, you will help create a warm, fulfilling dining experience and have plenty of opportunities to engage with residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with basic food preparation, plating, and serving nutritious meals.
Maintain exceptional kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and dishwashing standards.
Help set up dining areas to deliver a comfortable, restaurant-quality experience for residents.
Interact warmly with residents to enhance their daily hospitality experience.
Support stock organization and adhere to food safety guidelines at all times.
About You
