Deputy General Manager (Clinical)

Barchester Healthcare is recruiting a Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead for Ashcombe House Care Home in Basingstoke. You will work alongside the General Manager, step in to lead the home when they are away, and help the whole team give residents the best possible quality of life.

What you'll do:

• Lead a multidisciplinary team by example
• Check standards through audits, supervised clinical practice and regulatory compliance checks
• Manage safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments
• Help plan and deliver the home's goals, including some HR, budget and marketing work
• Support newly qualified nurses through preceptorship

What they're looking for:

• Registered Nurse (RN or RMN) with current NMC registration
• A teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification
• Experience caring for residents with a range of health needs

Pay: £54,000.00 per annum
