Care Assistant

Sanctuary Care is recruiting a Care Assistant for Briarscroft Residential Care Home in Shard End, Birmingham. You will join a friendly team caring for older people in a not-for-profit home.

What you will do:

• Work with the team to enrich residents' lives
• Give personalised care following each resident's care plan
• Encourage and take part in leisure and social activities
• Treat residents, families and colleagues with kindness and respect

What they are looking for: someone who enjoys teamwork, communicates clearly, adapts well and genuinely cares about older people. No experience is needed, as full training and support are given. Pre-employment checks apply, including an enhanced DBS check that Sanctuary pays for. Applications are only accepted from people with the right to work in the UK. The advert may close early.

Hours: full and part time hours available, on day and night shifts.
