Experience: Experience working in a care home setting is preferable, but newly qualified nurses are also warmly encouraged to apply
Flexibility: As a Bank Registered Nurse role, you must have the flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts as and when available
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for motivating, mentoring, and developing a team of care staff to ensure residents' clinical needs are thoroughly attended to. Organized and ready to adapt to challenges, you will provide professional, safe, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Personal Care Support: Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their individual care plans.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals, and the residents themselves to ensure comprehensive care provisions and recommending updates based on changing clinical needs.
Medication Management: Administering and recording medication safely and strictly in line with company policy.
Nutrition & Hydration: Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration, updating nutrition plans to accommodate revised dietary requirements.
Clinical Monitoring: Assessing residents for risks regarding pressure wounds and monitoring any abnormalities regarding personal output.
Engagement: Actively participating in and promoting resident activities and wellbeing.
