Bank Driver

This position provides an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in supporting local hospital networks through the safe and timely transport of essential sterile medical devices.

In this flexible role, you will act as a primary point of contact between the sterilisation services unit and local healthcare facilities. Joining a supportive logistics operation, you will help ensure critical surgical supplies are delivered efficiently while enjoying competitive hourly pay and great benefits.

Role Description

As a Bank Driver, you will handle the receipt, collection, and delivery of sterilized medical devices, ensuring strict compliance with driving standards, vehicle upkeep, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver medical devices to hospital clients using designated vehicles up to 5.2T.

• Inspect incoming deliveries from customers, maintain tidy work areas, and report any equipment faults promptly.

• Maintain accurate tachograph records and documentation in line with driver hour legislation.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement (permitting vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes GVW) and ideally a digital tachograph card.

• Physical capability to handle heavy manual tasks, including moving transport trolleys weighing upwards of 250kg.

• Flexible approach to work shifts operating between 4am and 10pm, Monday through Saturday.
