Position: Male Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant
Salary: Annual base salary of £25,564.50
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37.5 contracted hours per week, working on a shift rota between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM including weekends. Note: Due to the nature of the service, this role is open to male applicants under an occupational exemption [Equality Act 2010]. Sponsorship is not available).

What You Will Be Doing
Join an inclusive, supportive team providing person-centred care to help individuals progress along their recovery pathway toward a fulfilled life.
Participate in daily routines, including ward/house updates, observing and analysing behaviours, and adapting care approaches accordingly with colleagues.
Update patient records and assist with overall care, which may include supporting personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
Bring a positive attitude, compassion, resilience, and vigilance to a dynamic environment to help residents achieve meaningful milestones.

Previous experience in support work, care, or mental health/learning disability settings is highly beneficial.
Where You Will Be Working
21b Upper Brighton Road is a specialist residential service in Surbiton (Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames) supporting men who have a learning disability or are autistic, and who may present with behaviours of concern, profound communication difficulties, sensory impairments, or physical health needs. The home features seven en-suite bedrooms, two lounges, and a large garden, benefiting from fantastic local community amenities and excellent transport links to London Waterloo.
