Care Assistant

HC-One has two Care Assistant vacancies at Millcroft care home in Birmingham: one full-time night post of 28.5 hours per week, and one part-time early shift post from 7am to 2:30pm on a three-on, three-off pattern.

Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you would look after residents' physical, emotional and social wellbeing. The work includes:

• Personal care such as washing, dressing, hygiene and help at mealtimes
• Supporting residents with daily activities in the home
• Comforting residents who are distressed and giving compassionate end-of-life care
• Recognising signs of abuse or neglect and reporting concerns

You will attend safeguarding training suited to the role. HC-One is moving to digital care planning, so being comfortable with technology, or willing to learn, is helpful.

Pay is £13.45 to £13.95 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
