As a Bank Chef at Barchester, you will deliver hotel and restaurant standards of dining where your work truly matters. You will assist the Head Chef in creating nutritious, flavourful, and well-balanced menus, collaborating directly with residents to tailor meals around their preferences. Key Responsibilities
Help manage the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
Prepare and cook fresh produce to deliver high-quality, wholesome dishes.
Help create a warm, efficient, and fun kitchen environment.
Work within budget and assist with stock control and regular audits.
Help lead, inspire, and motivate the kitchen team.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Hold City & Guilds / NVQ / SVQ or equivalent cooking qualifications.
Experience: Experience working with fresh, seasonal food and helping to lead/inspire a team.
Knowledge: Good understanding of nutrition and HACCP guidelines.
