About the Role
Support the manufacture of cutting-edge airframe parts and empower external suppliers across the procurement lifecycle! As a staffing partner, Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency is proud to recruit for this vital Supply Chain Tech Administrator position on behalf of BAE Systems.
Operating within the Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering team at Samlesbury, you will bridge the gap between procurement, external suppliers, and project engineering by creating manufacturing data packs, managing workflow requests, and supporting technical queries across legacy, current, and future airframe platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Data Pack Generation: Interrogate multi-level bills of material to create accurate manufacturing data packs for suppliers supporting detail and assembly manufacturing solutions.
Workflow & Triage: Manage incoming workflow requests, perform triage, maintain trackers, and ensure efficient priority management across platform requirements.
Supplier & Technical Support: Assist external suppliers with manufacturing queries, standard engineering data, and concession applications while interfacing with project engineering teams.
Continuous Improvement: Engage actively in a continuous improvement culture to streamline processes, enhance effectiveness, and drive customer excellence.
What We Are Looking For
Industry Experience: Proven background within the manufacturing sector or a related industry, coupled with working knowledge of standard toolsets.
Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of technical drawings, engineering specifications, and configuration control.
Data & Workflow Skills: Proven history of managing data flow smoothly across internal and external organizations.
Software Proficiency: Good working knowledge of Microsoft toolsets, particularly Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
