Pay: £14.80 per hour

Shift: Days (Flexible Bank Contract)

At Supportive Bridge Staffing Agency, we are currently recruiting a Bank Activities Assistant on behalf of Barchester Healthcare to join the energetic team at Ashcombe House Care Home in Basingstoke.

Key Responsibilities

• Activity Coordination: Assist in planning and leading creative, inclusive activity schedules that cater to various hobbies, abilities, and interests.

• Person-Centered Engagement: Spend quality time getting to know residents personally to ensure activities enhance their happiness and social interaction.

• Community Links: Help coordinate local outings, entertainments, and visits from community groups or volunteers.

• Flexible Coverage: Step in on a bank basis to support special events, seasonal celebrations, and cover shift gaps during staff leave.

About You

• Attributes: Warm, empathetic, personable, and naturally creative with infectious enthusiasm.

• Key Skills: Strong organizational abilities, proactive mindset, and good communication skills.

• Experience: Prior experience in activity planning, care, or hospitality is beneficial, but not required—full training will be provided!

• Mindset: Passionate about enriching the daily lives of residents and inspiring fellow staff to join in the activities.
